Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian
USA, 2009

Ben Stiller, Amy Adams, Hank Azaria, Robin Williams
Directed by Shawn Levy

When the Museum of Natural History is closed for renovations, the museum pieces are moved into federal storage at the Washington DC Smithsonian Institute. Former museum night guard Larry Daley discovers that not all pieces are to be included, most importantly the good pharaoh Ahkmenrah and his Tablet of Ahkmenrah - the tablet that enables the museum pieces to come to life at night (as seen in the 2006 'Night at the Museum' movie). Dexter the Capuchin Monkey manages to steal the tablet, but is pursued by the evil pharaoh Kahmunrah, Ahkmenrah's brother, who wants to take its power and raise an army from the underworld to conquer the world. Larry together with General Custer and Amelia Earhart battles Kahmunrah, who is helped by bad guys Al Capone, Ivan The Terrible and Napoleon Bonaparte.

Sequel to "Night at the Museum" (USA, 2006).
