Het Huis Anubis
Netherlands/Belgium, 2006  TV

Iris Hesseling, Lucien van Geffen, Vreneli van Helbergen

The dutch youth-series "The House Anubis" tells the story of a boarding school in an old house. The house was once occupied by Egyptian archaeologists and the young boarders soon find out it is haunted by an ancient curse! According to the makers, the story was inspired by the alleged curse that hit the discoverers of the tomb of Tutankhamun back in 1922. The ancient Egyptian element in this series is, however, pretty thin as the story primarily focuses on the relationship between the teenagers living in the house.
