TV-series Fabian of the Yard

A thief emerges from a coffin in the Egyptian Room of the Warwick Museum, and steals some precious stones. Fabian finds a thread in the sarcophagus which proves to be from a very old green coat, and which leads him to the thief.

Episode from the 1950's police detective series "Fabian of the Yard" that features a New Scotland Yard police officer and his attemps to solve crime cases. "Fabian of the Yard" was one of the earliest British television detectives. Some 30 episodes were made between 1954 and 1956.
