In their latest adventure the Famous Five discover the mystical world of ancient Egypt: Bernhard, the father of Julian, Dick and Anne, is accused of having stolen an amulet that once belonged to Tutalun I - the oldest of the pharaohs. The five friends now have to find the amulet and its real thief to prove Bernhard's innocence. Together with the street boy Auni they get caught in a world of legendary treasures and a conspiracy of a corrupt, secret society. The trail leads them to a valley deep in the dessert, where they are lured into a trap. Will they escape and save Bernhard from having to spend many years in prison?

Fourth installment of the popular German 'Five Friends' adventure film series, based on the 'Famous Five' series of books by author Enid Blyton.
