Goodyear Television Playhouse presented full hour live television dramas between 1951 and 1957. One of them is called "The Medea Cup". Though the exact contents of this episode is not known, the character list features the historical persons 'Juba' (ruler of Numidia and Mauretania and son of Juba I who fought Julius Caesar in the African wars) and his later wife 'Cleopatra Selene' (daughter of Marc Anthony and Cleopatra VII).
