Announced. The British television station BBC in 2016 commissioned new adaptations of several classic Agatha Christie mysteries, including the 1944 novel "Death Comes as the End". It is one of Agatha Christie’s most unusual novels, being set in Ancient Egypt with entirely non-European characters. It has been credited as the first-ever historical whodunnit. BBC has apparently enlisted documentary director and screenwriter Gwyneth Hughes for the adaptation. It is still unknown when the highly anticipated drama will be aired.
